Request New Registration is a feature within CrowdFiber that allows you to invite your registrants back to your site, so you can collect additional information from them.
With Request New Registration, you can gain more information from your registrants after the registrant has completed their initial registration without requiring them to proceed through an entire registration process (that would require them to resubmit information they've already taken the time to provide).
With Request New Registration, you can create a custom registration process that offers one or more of the following experiences:
- eCommerce experience with terms and conditions (and electronic documents, if applicable)
- Survey
- Speed test
- The verification of FCC information registered for the registrant's address.
Why Use Request New Registration?
Request New Registration is the most efficient way to collect additional information from current registrants.
Common Use Cases
- Providing Pre-Registrants with a targeted eCommerce experience when services become available at their address.
- Sending a post-installation or customer satisfaction survey to a targeted list of registrants.
How do I create a Request New Registration campaign?
Creating a Request New Registration campaign will be familiar if you have previously used our legacy Outstanding Steps feature. However, this will be a more streamlined user experience for you and your registrants.
Step 1) Define Your List of Recipients
- Click the Orders link located in the left-hand rail of your Admin Dashboard.
- In the Sales drop-down menu, click the Orders link.
- On the following Orders page, apply the applicable filters in the Filter section of your Orders index that refine your Orders index down to the list of recipients who should be a part of the Request New Registration campaign.
When using Request New Registration to convert Pre-Registrants to In-Service Customers always utilize the following two filters:- Assigned to Zone Filter: add all applicable zones
- Ordered Products Filter: No
- After applying your applicable filters, click the blue Filter button in the bottom right-hand corner of the Filter section.
- After the filtered results appear in your Orders index, click the Bulk Actions drop-down menu seen in the upper right-hand corner of your Orders index.
-
In the Bulk Actions drop-down menu, select Request new registration.
7. On the Following Request New Registration page, verify your targeted recipients on the right-hand portion of the screen labeled Registration list.
- If necessary, you can manually remove contacts from this campaign by simply unchecking the box to the left of their name.

Part 2) Create your email
These actions will build a single email that will be sent to all of the recipients of this campaign. This email will contain a button that connects every recipient to their new registration process.
1. Subject line
-
Add the subject line of your email to the Subject line text box to grab your registrant's attention.
2. Template
-
To utilize a template for your email content, simply click the Select email template drop-down menu, and select the appropriate template for the Request New Registration campaign
3. Message
- Create your email content or make a one-time edit to an email template by adding text to the message text box.
- Edits to text in the Message text box are not saved. If you would like to create a saved email template, follow the instructions to view or create templates.
-
Best practices:
- Keep your email content as succinct as possible to maximize clicks.
-
Inspire the recipient to click the button by clearly communicating the following:
- Why the registrant has been invited to complete a new registration process
- What the registrant has to gain by completing their new registration process.
4. Button text
- Define the text/call to action seen in the button that will connect a recipient to their new registration process.
-
Best practices:
- Make the text clear instructions of what the recipient needs to do and what they will be doing by clicking the button.
