CrowdFiber Glossary
Address
A record that contains the details of a service, billing, or mailing address created by:
- An address search
- An automated address import from CrowdFiber's address databases.
- A manual CSV import of addresses into Crowdfiber.
Address Searches
Anytime an address is entered into your CrowdFiber search widget or the front end of your CrowdFiber site, and the Go button is clicked.
Contact
A person whose contact record exists on the Contact page in your CrowdFiber database. Contacts/contact records are created in two ways:

Organic:
a registrant who completes and clicks the Next button on the Contact Information Panel in your registration process.

Uploaded:
records of a person's contact information manually uploaded to your CrowdFiber database by a contact import

Detailed Definition
A Contact record is a detailed, organized record of all contact attributes and address information associated with a person in your CrowdFiber database. Required fields for a contact record:
- A first name
- A last name
- An email address
- The contact record can also include:
- Any phone numbers associated with the person
- Any addresses related to the person
- A person's communication preferences (email, phone, direct mail opt-outs)
- Custom details added by Admin Users
Documents/Signatures
Documents allow you to collect information securely and/or collect a signature. Immediately after a registration process is submitted, all targeted documents are delivered via email to the email address entered into the contact information panel during the registration.
- An integration CrowdFiber has with DropBox Sign(Formerly HelloSign)
- Unique documents can be targeted to your specific markets, product selections, and service areas.

In-Service
A zone type and registration process. This is a service area that you are currently offering services in.
Common use cases:
- Offer a user experience with an eCommerce experience.
Leads
Anyone who has searched for an address in CrowdFiber has not completed the following CrowdFiber registration process.
- Detailed Definition:
Anyone who has searched for an address on your CrowdFiber site or through a CrowdFiber address search widget that has yet to click the Submit button on the Submit panel at the end of your CrowdFiber registration process.

Calculation of Lead Metrics

Leads metric seen at the top of the Dashboard Page in your Admin Dashboard
The sum = (all leads, excluding duplicate leads) + (all orders)

Default metric that appears on the Leads Page
The sum of anyone who has searched for an address but still needs to complete a registration process, excluding duplicate leads/address searches.

Default Leads Page Disclaimer:
- The Exclude Duplicate Addresses filter is set to "Yes" to exclude duplicate leads from the index.
- The Converted Order filter is set to "No" to only display records that have not fully completed a registration process.
- After an order is completed, the Lead record associated with the order remains available in your CrowdFiber database.

Lead-to-order conversion rate
The percentage of people who perform and address and complete the entire registration process.
- A registration process is considered complete when a registrant clicks the Submit button on the review panel of any registration process.
Locations
A record in CrowdFiber is a way to store addresses without the risk of marketing to them.
- Locations are not fetched, they must be imported.
Common use cases:
- Storing BDC Fabric Data.
- When importing BDC fabric to Locations there are a couple of things to keep in mind-
- Fabric Location must equal True
- Fabric Version must be valid mm/dd/yyyy

Orders
A record of all information submitted by the registrant on every panel in their registration process. Order records are created in your CrowdFiber database immediately after a registrant clicks the Submit button at the end of their registration process. Orders are visible on the Orders Page in your Admin Dashboard.
- Order records are created for all registrations regardless of zone type.
- Records of In-Service, Pre-Registration, and Remote registrations will all display on the Orders page.
An order record can include:
- Address information associated with the address searched in the registration process.
- All contact information is submitted by the registrant on the Contact Information Panel.
- The registrant's specific answers to survey questions submitted on the Survey Panel.
- The products (with pricing) selected by the registrant in the Bundle Builder/e-Commerce Panel.
- Speed Test Results obtained by the Speed Test Panel.
- Statuses and links to all terms and conditions that the registrant must accept.
- Statuses and links to all signature documents that the registrant must sign.
- The IP address of the device the registrant is using during the registration process.
- Payments outstanding or submitted via CrowdFiber's Stripe Integration.
- Custom details added by Admin Users.
Pre-registration
A zone type and registration process. They are typically used for geographic areas where you are generating interest, accessing demand, or are currently constructing.
Recent Visits
Anyone who has visited the front end of your CrowdFiber site or visited your registration process via a CrowdFiber search widget.
Registrant
A generic term for anyone who has searched for an address on your CrowdFiber site or through a CrowdFiber address search widget. A Registrant can be associated with a Lead or an Order record.
Registration Process
The steps/panels a user experiences after searching for an address.
A registration process can include a selection of the following steps/panels:

Contact:
a contact information form with content that sets expectations for service availability.

Shop:
an eCommerce experience

Survey:
custom survey questions

Speed test:
via Speed Test by CrowdFiber

Services:
an interactive step that allows the registrant to verify all FCC data registered for the address associated with the registration process.

Review:
a step that concludes the registration process with the display of a Submit button and all terms required to be accepted for the registration to be submitted.

Success:
content that sets expectations and next steps for the registrant (this panel is seen always after the Submit button is clicked at the end of the registration process).
Remote
An address, order record, or zone outside the boundaries of your In-service and Pre-Regsitration zone.
Subscriptions
Customers and leads that your organization has imported into your CrowdFiber platform.
- Subscriptions are a great way to upload your current customers or previous orders to CrowdFiber to see all of your orders in a single platform.
Common use cases:
- Managing your relationship with your registrants through CrowdFiber
Terms
A classic digital terms and conditions user experience is displayed on the Review panel of a registration process.
- Targeted selection of required checkboxes based on the market, services area, and products associated with the registration process.

An option to collect a digital signature in line with the registration process.
- The registrant is required to accept/check all terms checkboxes before they can submit their registration
- Terms and conditions can be legally binding if worded properly with oversight from legal counsel.
Users
Anyone who has completed the Contact panel in a CrowdFiber registration process or has been invited to access the Admin Dashboard of your CrowdFiber site.
Zones
A record in CrowdFiber that displays a service area's boundaries to the boundaries of a targeted market campaign.
