What Are Bundle Builder Settings?

  • Bundle builder settings are a set of optional settings that allow you to add additional targeting and even more functionalities to your eCommerce experience, such as:
    • Hyper-target your DSL, fixed wireless, or video services.
    • Change what value is seen in the Add/Remove button in a product object.

How to Establish Bundle Builder Settings

  1. Click the Products link located in the left-hand rail of your Admin Dashboard.
  2. Access an existing product record on your Products page.
  3. Click the ID number in the ID column (the second column from the left).
  4. Click the Actions button located in the right-most column of the row containing the product record you would like to edit. Then, click the Edit option in the Actions drop-down menu.
  5. On the following page, click the Bundle builder settings tab located at the top of the product record.

Part 1) Targeting Options (optional)

Hyper-target and enhance your products.

  • Show Product to remote backers checkbox
    Make your product available in Remote registration eCommerce experiences.

    • Checked
      • This product will be displayed in the eCommerce experience for Remote registrants.
    • Unchecked
      • This product will not be displayed in the eCommerce experience for Remote registrants.
      • The product will only display in a Remote registration process if you display an eCommerce panel in your Remote Registration Process.

  • Allow User to select quantity checkbox
    Provide registrants with the capability to purchase more than one individual product.

    • Checked
      • The product object will display a plus and minus button in place of the Add/Remove button, allowing a registrant to purchase the product more than once.
      • The shopping cart will automatically increase or decrease the monthly price and installation price by the quantity of products selected.
    • Unchecked
      • The settings for the Add/Remove button will persist. The product object will display an Add/Remove button, allowing the product only to be added to the shopping cart once.

  • Select this product by default checkbox

    Automatically add and charge a product to the shopping cart when a registrant begins their eCommerce experience.

    • Checked
      • The product appears in the shopping cart when the registrant begins their eCommerce step in your registration process.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.

  • Restrict this product by loop length (feet)

    For use with DSL products only.
    Allow DSL products to dynamically display to registrants based on the Loop Length attribute associated address record being registered.

    • Checked
      • If the loop length associated with the address being registered exceeds the minimum loop length and does not exceed the maximum loop length established in this setting, the product will display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
      • If the loop length associated with the address being registered does not meet the minimum loop length or if the address exceeds the maximum loop length established in this setting, the product will not display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.
      • This feature requires the upload of your proprietary loop length data to CrowdFiber.

  • Restrict this product by receive level (dBm) checkbox

    For use with fixed wireless products only.
    Allow fixed wireless products to dynamically display to registrants based on the Receive Level Length attribute associated address record being registered.

    • Checked
      • If the receive level associated with the address being registered exceeds the minimum level and does not exceed the maximum level, the product will display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
      • If the receive level associated with the address being registered does not meet the minimum receive level or if the address exceeds the maximum receive level, the product will not display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.
      • This feature requires the upload of your proprietary receive level data to CrowdFiber.

  • Restrict this product by max road distance (Feet)

    For use with DSL products only.
    Allow DSL products to dynamically display to registrants based on the Road Distance attribute associated address record being registered.

    • Checked
      • If the road distance associated with the address being registered exceeds the minimum level and does not exceed the maximum level, the product will display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
      • If the road distance associated with the address being registered does not meet the minimum receive level or if the address exceeds the maximum distance, the product will not display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.
      • This feature requires the upload of your proprietary DSL Remote locations to CrowdFiber.

  • Require that customers fall within A DMA boundary to show this product

    For use with television products only.
    Make your television products exclusive to a Designated Marketing Area(s).

    • Checked
      • If the address being registered exists within the selected DMA(s), this product will display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
      • If the address being registered does not exist within the selected DMA(s), this product will not display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.
      • This feature requires the upload of DMAs to CrowdFiber.

  • Require that the customer be outside of ANY DMA boundary to see this product

    For use with television products only.
    Make your television products excluded from a Designated Marketing Area(s).

    • Checked
      • If the address being registered exists within the selected DMA(s), this product will not display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
      • If the address being registered does not exist within the selected DMA(s), this product will display in the registrant’s eCommerce experience.
    • Unchecked
      • This setting has no effect on your eCommerce experience.
      • This feature requires the upload of DMAs to CrowdFiber.

Part 2) Add/Remove Button Label

  • Establish what price to display in the button that allows a registrant to add or subtract a product from their shopping cart.
    1. Monthly price
      • The Add/Remove button will display the monthly cost/the Bundle Builder Price associated with the product.
    2. Installation price
      • The Add/Remove button will display the Installation Price established in this product’s Product Settings.
    3. Add/Remove only (no price shown)
      • The Add/Remove button does not display any price in the Add/Remove button. The word “Add” will be the only text displayed within the button.

Part 3) Save Your Bundle Builder Settings

  • Click one of the blue Save buttons seen in the lower left-hand corner of your screen to save and apply your Bundle Builder settings.
