Product Rules
What Are Product Rules?
- Product rules are storefront and shopping cart automation triggered by the addition of a specific product or specific product combinations to a shopping cart.
-
Product Rules can prevent the purchase of ineligible product combinations and guide your registrants through a path to purchase by upselling and cross-selling your registrants.
- Product Rule Examples:
- Display complementary products only after a core product is selected.
- Remove a specific product from the eCommerce experience when the product cannot be purchased alongside other products in the shopping cart.
- Automatically add and remove products from the shopping cart when a specific product is added to the shopping cart.
- Display special offers via a pop-up that displays immediately after a product or specific product combinations are added to a shopping cart.
