Map Centered & Zoom Set
What is Map Centered & Zoom Set?
- After all of your GIS files have been uploaded to CrowdFiber and established as zones within your Crowdfiber Admin Dashboard, the Map Centered & Zoom Set task visually centers your service areas within the map on the Service Areas page located on the frontend of your CrowdFiber website, as well as in the Map page in your Admin Dashboard.
How to Adjust The Center Point & Zoom of Your Map
- For maximum editing efficiency, open your Admin Dashboard and Service Areas Page (seen on the frontend of your CrowdFiber site) in two separate browser tabs.
-
Then, click the Brands link located in the left-hand rail of your Admin Dashboard.

-
On the following Brands page, in the Actions column (the right-most column on the page), click the Edit link seen in the row containing the Name Default Brand.
Set The Center Point of Your Map
-
In the Default Brand settings section located at the top of the following page, add the precise latitude and longitude values that define the center point of your combined zones/service areas to Latitude and Longitude textboxes (see the screenshot below).

-
Click the blue Save settings button located in the lower left-hand corner of the Default Brand settings in your Admin Dashboard.

-
Visit your Service Areas Page on the frontend of your CrowdFiber site and refresh the page up to three times to review your changes.
- Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 (seen above) until your service areas are centered within your map.
Adjust Your Zoom Level
- Visit the Service Areas page on the frontend of your CrowdFiber site.
-
Click the Plus or Minus button located in the Service Areas Page map’s upper left-hand corner until all of your service areas are visible within the map. Count the number of times you’ve clicked the Plus or Minus button

-
Navigate to the browser tab containing Default Brands settings in your Admin Dashboard.
-
In the Public Map Zoom Level textbox, increase or decrease the existing number by the number of times you clicked the Plus or Minus button. 1. Increasing the Zoom Level by one number will set the default zoom level to the equivalent zoom of clicking the Plus button on your current map one time. 2. Decreasing the Zoom Level by one number will set the default zoom to the equivalent zoom of clicking the Minus button on your current map one time.

-
Click the blue Save settings button located in the lower left-hand corner of the Default Brand settings section in your Admin Dashboard.
