Create a Market Selection
What is a Market Selection?
- Market Selection allows your registrants to identify themselves as a type of customer as they begin their registration process.

Providing your registrants with the ability to identify themselves with a market during their address search gives you the ability to provide a more targeted user experience throughout a registration process, including:
- Dynamic content specific to each market
- Specific products and pricing
- Unique surveys
- Targeted terms & conditions
- Exclusive Contract documents
- Your Address, Contact, Lead, and Order records will also be filterable by the Market Selection you establish in this setting.

How to Establish your Market Selection

- Click the Settings link located in the left-hand rail of your Admin Dashboard.
- Click the Markets link located in the Settings drop-down menu.
- On the following page, follow the steps in Part 1 and Part 2 below.
Part 1) Create or Edit Your Market
On the following Markets page, you have two options:
- Option 1 of 2) Create a new market
- Click the blue New button located in the upper right-hand corner of the Markets Index to create a unique market selection.

- Click the blue New button located in the upper right-hand corner of the Markets Index to create a unique market selection.
- Option 2 of 2) Edit the title of a name of an existing market
- Click the Actions button associated with the market, located in the far right-hand column of the Market Index.
- Click in the Edit link in the Actions Drop-Down Menu to edit the details of an existing market selection.

Part 2) Establish Market Settings
- Name
- Create the unique name of your market.
The best practice is to use the same market name as seen on your proprietary website and marketing materials.

- Default registration form survey
- This setting is not applicable at this time. This setting will be put in place after you create your surveys.

- Market Settings Checkboxes
- Create a unique experience for each of your markets.

This is a commercial market. Collect company name, title, and number of employees.
- Checked, your Contact Information Panel form will display the following form fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Job title of the registrant
- Number of employees working at the company
- Unchecked, your Contact Information Panel form will display the following form fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Checked, your Contact Information Panel form will display the following form fields:

Include as a choice on address search form
- Checked
- This market name will display as an option for registrants to select in the Service Type drop-down menu in your address search bar.
- Unchecked
- This market name will not display as an option for registrants to select in the Service Type drop-down menu in your address search bar. The market will be for internal use only (only be visible in your Admin Dashboard).

- When an eCommerce experience is activated in a registration process, this market will automatically skip the eCommerce step.
- Unchecked
- When an eCommerce experience is activated in a registration process, this market will proceed through an eCommerce experience.

- Click one of the blue Save buttons located in the bottom left-hand corner of the New Market section of the page.
