How to Add & Subtract Web Pages From Your Top Navigation

Part 1) Decide Which Webpages to Utilize

Avoid extra work created by content duplication and minimize the risk of displaying out-of-date content to your website visitors. All web pages utilized on your CrowdFiber website should be unique pages of content not established on your proprietary website.

  1. Review each page in your Top Navigation.
  2. Decide which pages can improve to your content strategy and which pages are not necessary to maintain/publically display.
    • Web Page Descriptions

      • Home
        • The Home Page of your CrowdFiber Website. A perfect starting point for registrations. A page to let people know who you are, what you’re doing, and why they should take the time to search for their address. This URL can also become a landing page tailored to your digital ads.
      • Services

        • A display and promote specific products or generic products that describe the broad categories of services you offer your customers.

        Displaying product pricing is optional.

      • Service Areas
        • A map that displays your service areas to the public. This page also displays a list of all of your service area names with customizable status update messages. You can also dynamically show a service area’s progress toward your demand goal.
      • Updates
        • A chronological feed of custom posts (created by your organization) displayed on your CrowdFiber website. The Updates page provides a blog or social media style feed of posts. A visitor can review a feed that contains a summary of each update on the root Updates page. Each summary also includes a Read More button that can be clicked to connect a visitor to a  unique web page that displays the update in its entirety.
      • FAQs
        • A custom display of frequently asked questions and their answers. Use this page to provide information that inspires visitors to search for their address and help reduce the amount of time your Sales and Support team spends responding to repetitive emails and phone calls.
      • Message Board

        • A chronological feed of messages posted on your CrowdFiber site by website visitors. The Message Board page provides a social media-style conversation/interaction. When posts/messages are displayed on your Message Board page, the public and your organization can comment on the message to create a public conversation right on your CrowdFiber site.

All messages on the Message Board page are moderated by your Admin Users: every message and comment submitted by a website visitor must be approved by one of your Admin Users before the content is publicly displayed on your CrowdFiber website.

      • Supporters

        • A real-time list of registrant names and service areas.

Registrants have the option to opt out of displaying their name on this page.
